Create Product
This guide walks you through the process of creating a new product in Fenicia. By the end, your product will be ready to publish on your sales channels.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following information ready:
- Product name and description
- At least one product image
- Sale price and cost
- SKU for each variant (if applicable)
Step by Step
Open the creation form
Navigate to Products in the sidebar menu and click the Create product button in the top-right corner.
Fill in basic information
Complete the required product fields:

Tip
If you are not ready to publish yet, save the product as a Draft. You can activate it when you are ready.
Upload images
Add product images by dragging files to the upload area or clicking to select them.
- Upload at least one image
- The first image will be the main image
- You can reorder by dragging the thumbnails
- Formats: JPG, PNG, WebP (max 5 MB each)
Image best practices
Use square images of at least 1000x1000 px with a white background. This ensures great presentation across all marketplaces.
Set up pricing
Define the pricing structure:
- Sale price: The price offered to customers
- Compare-at price (optional): Original price to show a discount
- Cost (optional): Your acquisition price, for margin calculations
Currency
Prices are set in your account's default currency. You can adjust prices per channel from the product details page.
Add variants
If your product has different options (size, color, material), set up variants:
- Click Add option
- Enter the option name (e.g., "Size")
- Add values separated by commas (e.g., "S, M, L, XL")
- Repeat for each additional option type
Fenicia automatically generates all combinations. For example, if you define Size (S, M, L) and Color (Black, White), 6 variants are created.
For each variant, complete:
- SKU: Unique identifier
- Price: If it differs from the main price
- Barcode: Optional
Configure shipping
If this is a physical product, fill in the shipping information:
- Product weight including packaging
- Dimensions: Length, width, and height
This information is used to calculate shipping costs automatically.
Save the product
Review all the information and click Save.
- If the status is Active, the product syncs immediately with your channels
- If the status is Draft, it is saved without being published
Required Fields
To save a product, you need at minimum:
- Product name
- Status (active or draft)
All other fields are optional, though we recommend completing at least the price and one image before activating the product.
Adding Variants in Detail
Variants are combinations of options that represent specific versions of your product.
Practical example
For a t-shirt with sizes and colors:

Tip
Use a consistent SKU convention to simplify inventory management. A good format is: BRAND-MODEL-SIZE-COLOR.
After Creating
Once the product is created:
- Verify it appears in the product catalog
- Check the product details page to adjust channel-specific settings
- Confirm that inventory is correctly reflected at your locations
Automatic synchronization
Active products are automatically synced with all your connected channels. This process may take a few seconds depending on the marketplace.
