Bundles let you combine multiple products into a single sellable item. They are ideal for starter kits, gift sets, "frequently bought together" promotions, and complementary product combinations.
A bundle is a combination of two or more products sold as a single unit. For example:
Bundles have their own SKU, title, description, images, and price, but are composed of individual products from your catalog.
Navigate to Bundles in the sidebar menu. You will see the list of all your bundles with their name, component count, price, and status.
Fenicia supports three bundle types based on how they handle variants:
| Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Standalone | The bundle has no variants of its own | "Basic Kit" (always includes the same products) |
| Combined | The bundle has its own variants | "Custom Kit" (Size S, M, L) |
| Inherited | Variants are inherited from the component products | "Shoes Combo" (variants based on shoe size and color) |
Choosing the type
Pick the bundle type based on your use case. Standalone is the simplest, while inherited offers the most flexibility for products with variants.
Click New bundle and fill in:
Search for and add the products that make up the bundle:
Define the pricing strategy:
Select the inventory mode for the bundle.
Enable the channels where you want to publish the bundle.
Each bundle component has the following properties:
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | The catalog product included in the bundle |
| Quantity | Number of units of this component per bundle |
| Required | Whether the component is mandatory or can be omitted by the customer |
Tip
Optional components are useful for "build your own kit" bundles, where customers can customize the bundle contents.
You set a single price for the bundle, regardless of component prices. Ideal when you want to offer a discount for purchasing the complete bundle.
The bundle price is automatically computed by summing the prices of all components multiplied by their quantity. If component prices change, the bundle price updates automatically.
You can adjust the bundle price for specific channels. For example, a different price on Amazon than on your Shopify store.
Price consistency
If you use calculated pricing, make sure component prices are up to date. A change in a component's price automatically affects the bundle price.
Fenicia offers three modes for managing bundle inventory:
| Mode | Description | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Aggregate | Bundle stock equals the minimum stock among its components | When you do not keep pre-packed bundle stock |
| Separate | The bundle has its own independent stock | When you pre-pack bundles |
| None | Inventory is not tracked for the bundle | For digital bundles or made-to-order |
Tip
Aggregate is the most common mode. If you sell a kit that includes 1 shirt and 2 pairs of socks, and you have 10 shirts and 15 pairs of socks, the kit stock will be 7 (limited by socks: 15 / 2 = 7).
Just like individual products, you can publish bundles to specific sales channels. Toggle each channel on or off from the bundle's availability section.
| Use case | Recommended type | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Starter kits | Standalone | "Welcome Kit" with 5 fixed products |
| Gift sets | Standalone | "Holiday Box" with curated products |
| Frequently bought together | Inherited | "Running Combo" with size variants |
| Mix and match | Combined | "Build Your Look" with combination options |
| Volume packs | Standalone | "6-Pack" with bulk discount |
