The rate calculator at /shipping/rates lets you compare quotes from all your connected carriers before generating a label. Find the best combination of price, delivery time, and service level.

How to Get a Quote

Enter origin

Select the origin address from your saved locations or enter a postal code manually. The system preloads your primary location by default.

Enter destination

Type the destination postal code, city, or full address. The calculator validates that the destination has carrier coverage.

Define package dimensions

Enter the weight (kg), length, width, and height (cm) of the package. If you have predefined package sizes, select one from the list.

Compare results

The system queries all available carriers and displays quotes sorted by price. Each result includes estimated delivery time and service level.

Quote Results

Each quote displays the following information:

Field	Description
Carrier	Carrier name (DHL, FedEx, Estafeta, UPS)
Service	Service type (Express, Standard, Economy)
Price	Total cost including taxes
Estimated time	Business days estimated for delivery
Coverage	Indicator of whether the destination has extended coverage

Tip

Sort results by price or delivery time depending on your priority. For urgent shipments, filter to express services only. To optimize costs, include economy options.

Available Carriers

The calculator automatically queries all carriers you have configured:

DHL Express — Domestic and international service, 1-3 day delivery.
FedEx — Express, standard, and economy with broad coverage.
Estafeta — National coverage with ground and air options.
UPS — Express and ground services for domestic shipments.
Skydropx — Multi-carrier aggregator that combines rates from multiple carriers in a single query.

Skydropx as aggregator

If you have Skydropx connected, quotes may include additional carriers you do not contract directly. Skydropx negotiates preferential rates with its carrier network.

Generate a Label from a Quote

Once you choose the best rate:

Click "Select" next to the desired quote.
Complete the recipient details (name, phone, full address).
Link the shipment to an existing order or create it as a standalone shipment.
Confirm and the label will be generated automatically.

The label will appear in your Shipments Dashboard ready to print.

Factors That Affect Pricing

Keep these factors in mind when quoting:

Volumetric weight: If the package is large but light, carriers charge by volumetric weight (length x width x height / dimensional factor).
Extended zone: Rural or hard-to-reach destinations may have surcharges.
Insurance: Some quotes include basic insurance; for high-value items, add additional coverage.
Overweight: If the actual weight exceeds what was declared, the carrier will apply an extra charge visible in Shipping Finances.

Accurate weight

Always declare the real weight of your package. Carriers verify at their distribution centers and any discrepancy generates overweight charges deducted from your balance.
