Shipping Settings
Shipping settings allow you to define the origin and return addresses used when generating shipping labels, create package templates with preset dimensions, and review available carrier integrations.
Origin Addresses
Origin addresses are the addresses from which you ship your orders. You can save multiple addresses and select the appropriate one based on the location from which each shipment is prepared.
Add origin address
Go to Settings → Shipping and click New origin address.
Complete information
Enter the reference name, full address, contact phone number, and email address.
Set as default
Mark an address as default so it is automatically selected when creating new shipping labels.
Return Address
In addition to origin addresses, you can configure a different return address. This is used when a customer returns a package and you want it delivered to a specific location different from the origin.
Tip
Link your origin addresses with your locations to maintain consistency between your inventory and shipping operations.
Package Templates
Package templates allow you to preconfigure the dimensions and weight of packaging you frequently use. This speeds up label generation and reduces errors.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Template identifier (e.g., "Medium box") |
| Length | Package length in centimeters |
| Width | Package width in centimeters |
| Height | Package height in centimeters |
| Weight | Empty package weight in kilograms |
| Material | Packaging type (box, envelope, tube) |
Create template
In the templates section, click New package template.
Define dimensions
Enter the measurements and base weight of the packaging.
Use in orders
When preparing a shipment, select the template to automatically fill in the package dimensions.
Accurate dimensions
Carriers calculate shipping cost using volumetric weight (based on dimensions) or actual weight, whichever is greater. Keep your templates updated to get accurate quotes.
Carrier Integrations
Fenicia integrates with major shipping services to generate labels directly from the platform:
| Carrier | Services |
|---|---|
| DHL | Express, national and international standard |
| FedEx | Express, Ground, International |
| Estafeta | Ground, next day |
| UPS | Express, Ground |
| Skydropx | Multi-carrier aggregator |
| T1 Envios | Integrated shipping solution |
Carrier configuration
The connection with each carrier is set up in the channels and integrations section. Here in shipping settings you only define default addresses and packages.
Relationship with Order Preparation
Shipping settings connect directly with the order preparation flow:
- A new order is received
- When preparing the shipment, the origin address is selected
- A package template is chosen or dimensions are entered manually
- The shipping label is generated with the selected carrier
- The label is printed and the package is dispatched
