To start receiving orders and syncing products, you need to connect at least one sales channel. Fenicia provides a guided wizard that walks you through the connection process step by step.
Go to Channels and click Add Channel. If this is your first channel, the button appears directly in the empty state on the channels page.
Choose the marketplace or platform you want to connect: Shopify, Amazon, MercadoLibre, Walmart, T1 Comercios, TikTok Shop, Coppel, Shein, Tienda Nube, WooCommerce, and more.
The authentication method varies by channel:
Review the permissions Fenicia requests from the marketplace. Typically, read and write access is required for orders, products, and inventory.
The OAuth flow is the most secure method. The marketplace asks you to confirm access directly on their platform, without sharing passwords with Fenicia.
Automatic redirect
After authorizing, the marketplace will redirect you back to Fenicia automatically. Do not close the window during the process.
Some marketplaces provide a key pair (API Key and Secret) that you enter in the connection form. Refer to each marketplace's documentation to obtain your credentials.
Tip
Store your API keys in a safe place. If you lose them, you will need to generate new ones from the marketplace portal.
For self-hosted stores like WooCommerce, you need to provide your store URL along with the REST API keys.
Once the channel is connected, Fenicia syncs the following data:
| Data | Direction | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Products | Bidirectional | Catalog, prices, descriptions, images |
| Orders | Marketplace → Fenicia | New orders and status updates |
| Inventory | Fenicia → Marketplace | Stock levels updated in real time |
| Customers | Marketplace → Fenicia | Customer data associated with orders |
Selective sync
You can adjust which data syncs and in which direction from the channel settings after connecting.
After authorizing the connection, Fenicia automatically starts the initial sync:
Fenicia downloads your complete catalog from the marketplace. Depending on size, this can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes.
Recent orders (typically the last 30 days) are imported so you have immediate context.
Stock levels from Fenicia are pushed to the marketplace to keep availability up to date.
Do not interrupt the first sync
The initial import may take several minutes for large catalogs. You can navigate to other sections while it completes in the background.
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Authorization fails | Verify you have admin permissions on the marketplace |
| Products not importing | Check that products are published and active on the channel |
| API credential error | Regenerate keys from the marketplace portal |
| Slow sync | Catalogs with thousands of products may take up to 15 minutes |
