Channel Settings
Every connected channel has its own settings page accessible at /channels/:id/settings. Here you can customize how Fenicia interacts with the marketplace, from pricing rules to shipping preferences.
Accessing Settings
Open the channel
Go to Channels and select the channel you want to configure to access its dashboard.
Navigate to settings
In the channel sidebar, click Settings.
Preparation Time
Define how long you need to prepare an order from this channel before shipping it. This value is communicated to the marketplace to calculate estimated delivery dates.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Preparation days | Number of business days to get the order ready |
| Cutoff time | Deadline for processing same-day orders |
Tip
Set realistic preparation times. A time that is too short can lead to delays and penalties on marketplaces like Amazon or MercadoLibre.
Pricing Rules
Control how product prices are calculated for each channel:
- Base price: Use the price defined in Fenicia without changes.
- Percentage margin: Apply a percentage increase or decrease on the base price. Useful for covering marketplace commissions.
- Fixed margin: Add or subtract a fixed amount from the base price.
- Price list: Assign a specific price list for the channel.
Marketplace commissions
Many marketplaces charge commissions on each sale. Use pricing rules to absorb or pass that cost on to the selling price.
Entity Type
Select the tax entity type associated with this channel. This affects invoicing and financial reports:
- Individual (Persona fisica)
- Corporation (Persona moral)
- Small taxpayer regime (Regimen de incorporacion fiscal)
Location Assignment
Define which inventory location fulfills orders from this channel:
- Default location: All orders are fulfilled from a fixed location.
- Zone-based location: Assign locations based on the buyer's geographic zone.
Inventory and locations
If you change the assigned location, stock levels synced with the marketplace will update automatically. Make sure the new location has enough inventory.
Carrier Preferences
Configure which shipping services are used for orders from this channel:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Preferred carrier | Default shipping service (DHL, FedEx, Estafeta, UPS, Skydropx, T1 Envios) |
| Shipping service | Service type: standard, express, economy |
| Auto-generate labels | Create shipping labels automatically when an order is accepted |
Tip
Some marketplaces like Amazon FBA and MercadoLibre Full handle shipping for you. In those cases, carrier preferences do not apply.
Sync Settings
Adjust what data syncs and how often:
Products
- Sync products: Enable or disable catalog synchronization.
- Direction: Fenicia to Marketplace, Marketplace to Fenicia, or bidirectional.
- Synced fields: Title, description, price, images, inventory.
Orders
- Auto-import orders: Pull new orders from the marketplace into Fenicia.
- Update status: Push status changes from Fenicia to the marketplace.
Inventory
- Real-time sync: Update marketplace stock every time it changes in Fenicia.
- Safety threshold: Define a minimum stock buffer that is subtracted from the available inventory published on the channel.
Disconnect and Reconnect
Pausing the Channel
If you need to temporarily stop syncing without losing your configuration:
Pause sync
In the settings section, enable the Pause channel toggle. Existing data is preserved but no longer updated.
Resume
Disable the pause to resume syncing. Fenicia will run an immediate sync to catch up.
Disconnecting the Channel
Irreversible action
Disconnecting a channel revokes Fenicia's permissions on the marketplace. Orders and history are kept in Fenicia, but you will need to reconnect the channel to resume syncing.
To disconnect, click Disconnect channel at the bottom of the settings page and confirm the action.
Reconnecting
If the channel shows an authentication error or was disconnected, click Reconnect to start the authorization flow again without losing your previous configuration.
